Welcome to my blog!

I invite you to journey with me as we dive into issues of the heart, biblical insights, and a lot of discussion about God, Jesus, current issues, and doctrines of the faith that are relevant to us today.

If you don’t know much about me let me give you a little background:

I was born and raised in Florianópolis, Brazil. I grew up surfing, crab and salt water fishing, and used to have a pretty good tan! I enjoy playing futvolley, soccer, volleyball, tennis, and fishing with my sons! I play guitar, saxophone, drums, percussion, and enjoy singing.

I hold a BA in Christian Studies with an emphasis on Theology and a Minor in Biblical Hebrew from Ouachita Baptist University, and MA in Old Testament Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where I am currently enrolled as a PhD in Preaching student.

… about my family? Glad you asked!

Ashli and I have been married for over a decade. She is the love of my life. She works as a Mobile Transport Unit nurse and is the most talented woman I know! We have three boys, Gabriel, Joshua, and Joel and life is grand with them! We have so much fun and love sharing it with others.

I hope you’ll visit this blog and take advantage of any insights it provides! I love writing and sharing my thoughts with others … I invite you to read it regularly and also share your thoughts with me in the comments section.

I currently work on staff at Crossroads Fellowship. As a disclaimer, my posts do not fully describe all views or opinions held by the church I current serve in. These are my personal thoughts, which mostly align with the Crossroads Fellowship’s views on many issues. Crossroads Fellowship is not to be held legally responsible for the views shared via my blogs.
